I bought a Da Vinci Junior 1.0. I'm trying to use the software XYZware, but it's impossible.
I am getting the error that OpenGL 1.1 got found and I have to update my driver.
I'm using Windows 10 Home x64 with a NVIDA GTX 960, latest Forceware driver is installed.

When I am loading a .stl model the program is horrible slow. When it's sliced the program just crashes and I can not view the sliced result.

As this error persists the 3D printer is not useable, as I dont want to buy a 150€ third party software.
I also read that XYZprinting is aware of that problem since a few weeks, so where is the promised patch?
I am thinking of returning the printer back, it's really horrible how the costumers are treated here. And I'm hardly frustated in not being able to use the printer properly.

same here. I am on OpenGL 4.5 per the GL extensions viewer, have latest drivers, but can no longer use my printer due to this. Not XYZMaker does NOT throw the GL error (not that I'd ever use it) - why does one fail and the other succeed?

I have the same issue with one of my computers. The response I got from XYZ's support was not helpful. To be fair, the problem is not just with XYZWare. Nvidia's drivers often induce OpenGL errors under Windows 10. Just do a search for Minecraft OpenGL Windows 10 and you will see that at least Minecraft has similar issues. All the research I have done points to Nvidia's drivers. I am also running a GeForce 960 and prior to the mid-December update there were no problems. I have other computers I can use, so I pretty much stopped there. You may try rolling you graphics card driver back a few versions. If so, make sure you completely uninstall / remove the currently installed drivers.

I've got the same however as a point of fact, XYZMaker does not have the same issue and according to the specs its using OpenGL. This has to be a coding issue within XYZWare.

No other OpenGL application or game has any issue with my latest NVidia Drivers on my Windows 10 Machine, just this one product.

i have seen people say use older version of XYZWare, none of which worked for me and some say downgrade graphics drivers to a version that is nearly 1 year old, which I will not do just because of this error in 1 app.

XYZ need to fix the bug, as its painful trying to move around the screen.

There has been a software update today for xyzware and the openGL issue has gone away. The application is no sooo much better.

I can now actually rotate the object without my pc feeling like its 20 years old!
