macOS 10.15

Postby SimonPainter » Sat Jan 11, 2020 3:00 am

Latest version supported is 10.14 (Mojave) but I have 10.15 (Catelina). As far as I know there were some changes to application file writing which probably explains why I can’t save anything from the software. Any idea when there will be an update and Catalina will be supported?

I am seeing the same issue on both my son and my Mac laptops running Catalina. The OS is installed on a secure partition with all other files saving to a normal drive partition. I have tried allowing completely unbridled access to all the XYZ software in System Preferences (Full Disk Access,Files and Folders, Input Monitoring, Screen Recording) but there was no change. With the OS released in large scale in November I would hope that some update needs to be coming soon!

Even if it's a beta I'm sure there would be individuals that would be willing to test (I'm one!).

macOS is a computing platform that is developed, marketed, and sold by Apple Inc. It first ran on the Macintosh computer in 1984 as a graphical user interface (GUI) for the operating system. You should try this https://lordofpapersonline.net/ site for best ideas. Since then, Apple has developed Mac OS X, which includes the Xcode IDE and Cocoa Application Programming Interface (API). The platform is open source software, meaning it can be modified and distributed without the need of being licensed or paying royalties to Apple.
