Calibration - nozzle prong behind platform

Postby Abbylynn92 » Sat Sep 01, 2018 12:58 pm

Trying to calibrate my printer bed and it fails. I noticed when the nozzle approached the 2nd point, it’s right behind the calibration platform it should hit. How do I resolve this?

IMHO the calibration program makes a quick simple job into a tedious error prone process.

You need to get the bed up to printing height. On some models this be done from the menu - otherwise start a print and then switch off.

Use a thickness gauge of your choosing. I use a printed label tape 0.15mm thick but many users advocate two sheets of 80gsm printer paper.

Move the print nozzle by hand over each adjusting screw in turn and set the height using the gauge.

Job done.

Hello! Nice to see you guys! So, my name is Julian and I work as a paper author for students at custom term paper online service. One study tip that really helped with planning and accountability was to have pupils schedule study hours into their month, just like any other activity in their life. If you had a test one or two weeks, you would block three of four hours of studying time on your calendar each day leading up to the test. We also created schedules for a month before finals and designated which subjects would be studied on which days based on the order of the final exams. So, I advice you to check the best webservice ever!
