Issues with Carbon Fiber Filament Printing

Postby Darthcharles » Thu Jul 04, 2019 11:56 am

Hello all!

I am having some issues with printing with the carbon fiber filament.
I have a da vinci mini W+ and have the Hardened Steel extruder.
I have adjusted the print speed to "slow", reduced the extract length to 0.00 and the retract speed to 15.
I am using a low (15%) infill. .2 Layer height and .20 first layer height.
I have tried the temperature at the standard temperature and at +10 degrees.

The issue I am having is that the filament curls when it hits the print bed and also is "wavy" on straight lines.

Anyone have any suggestions or see what I might be missing?
