Help! I can't remove the glass base plate

Hi Everyone,

I've just unpacked my new Da Vinci Nano printer and hooked it up to my laptop. Next stage is to apply the tape to the base plate. I'm following the first time printing tutorial and have pulled the two black clips free of the glass. In the video, the glass pops up and can be pulled free. Mine is absolutely stuck to the metal tray and won't budge. It must be something simple, but I can't understand what at the moment!

Looks like just two clips, and it lifts up from the front. Let us know if you fixed it.

I'm having the same problem. It's a brand new da Vinci nano and I've completed all the setup steps according to the manual. When I release the two black clips at the front of the print bed, the glass plate does not rise like it's shown in the tutorial video or the manual. And I can't pick up the glass plate by hand, it won't move at all.
Am I missing something?

I have the same problem I turn the two black clips, but that glass plate is stuck well in there it won't shift even when being really pulled to the point I'm worried I will break it.

I found myself with this same problem and with a bit of help and creative thinking, managed to fix it.

Good luck, be patient, make sure you undo the black clips first and don’t use excessive force or you might crack the glass!
